This tent is based on a find in Vindolanda, England, and has the high-walled and lower roof design found on Trajan's column. The tent is made of vegetable tanned leather, waterproofed, and has a reinforcing leather layer underneath the stress points, and corners.

The leather is 2 -3 oz, and the panels are approximately 20x30 each. Thread is heavy guage designed for leather. Stitching is a mix of machine and hand stitching. A completely hand stitched tent is available at a considerably higher cost and delay. Optional SOTW Tent Stakes, Poles, and Ropes are also available. BRUTALLY AUTHENTIC!
