This Celata was in use in the 15th Century, and popular mainly amongst the Italian Condottieres, many of whom served as mercenaries to the Roman Empire. Indeed, Roman soldiers called Latinikon wore this helmet as well, defending Constantinople against the Turks to the very end. Comes in 16 and 18 Gauge.
