The Intercisa Helmets were found in the destruction layer of a burned down storehouse at the Intercisa Fortress in Hungary, likely destroyed by the Huns in the early 5th Century AD. However, the storehouse itself burned down in about 390, and the helmets date to the late 4th century AD. This typology of helmet was in use from the very end of the 3rd century to the end of the 6th Century AD, and is a great starter helmet for your Late Roman soldier impression.**NOTE: This helmet may come with the Intercisa-II cheekpieces, which is a mix up on Deepeeka's part. **
