This Napoleonic Cavalry Cuirass has a breastplate and a backplate of 20 gauge steel which is heavily accented in brass embellishment. The cuirass is secured at the waist with a buckled white leather belt and a pair of leather shoulder straps with brass plates connects the shoulders. There are two available slots on the shoulder straps which can be used to slightly adjust the fit of the cuirass. The interior is blackened to impart a degree of rust resistance.
