The armor we call "Lorica Musculata" came about in the 5th century BC, as a development of the earlier Bell Cuirass. Lorica Musculata was reserved for the wealthiest Greeks, who could afford to have such armor made. Available in brass and iron.  Image is of the Brass variety.
